Dre Wise MSN, SANE A/A, AGACNP-BC, is a board-certified Adult to Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, safe, and comprehensive evidence-based care. She specializes in internal medicine, hospitalist medicine, and primary care with a special interest in women’s health, menopause, and preventative medicine; helping patients feel empowered and informed in their healthcare decisions. Dre obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University, further enhancing her expertise in the healthcare field. With more than 15 years of hands-on clinical experience, she has developed a strong foundation in patient care and advanced nursing practice. In addition to her clinical practice, Dre serves her community as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. In this critical role, she is responsible for collecting evidence for law enforcement, contributing to the pursuit of justice, and supporting victims through compassionate care. Jody Shelton

Jody is a Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in primary care, urgent care, and men’s health. With more than nine years of experience in healthcare, he brings a well-rounded clinical background and a strong commitment to patient-centered care. Jody earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Louisville, where he began his nursing career and spent much of his time working as a travel nurse. This experience allowed him to care for diverse patient populations across various healthcare settings, strengthening his adaptability and clinical expertise. He later advanced his education by obtaining his Master of Science in Nursing from Northern Kentucky University, becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner. Jody is passionate about providing accessible, high-quality care and helping patients achieve better long-term health outcomes. Outside of work, Jody enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, visiting national parks, and taking his kids to the park.
Stephanie Lucas
My name is Stephanie Lucas. I am a family nurse practitioner with Kentucky Health and Wellness - Hardinsburg clinic. I earned my masters in nursing from Eastern Kentucky University which was a rural health family nurse practitioner program. I have worked in healthcare for about 30 years, starting out as an MA then advancing to an APRN. My RN experience included Critical Care, Infection Prevention/Quality management, Cardiology. I started my NP career doing house calls where I saw patients for acute and primary care in their homes covering 4 counties. I enjoy seeing patients in the rural health setting which was the main reason I chose the NP program at EKU as it focused on those patients in the rural health setting. I have been married to my husband for 30+ years, have three adult children, two grandchildren, 2 cats and an adorable Shitsu mix, Allie, who makes our empty nest feel not so empty. Hobbies include reading, watching hockey, and spending time with family. I am dedicated to my patients in my community and enjoy seeing them in the office as well as out and about in the community. I try to always let them know how appreciative I am that they trust me with their care.
